The one-paragraph version

Some links on AI Tool Court are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a subscription, we earn a commission from the vendor — the price you pay is exactly the same. This is the site's only revenue. Our testing protocol and scores are finalized before any affiliate relationship begins, and no vendor can change a score, a verdict, or a ranking.

How it works in detail

How this affects (and doesn't affect) our verdicts

Our scores come from the 5-step testing protocol: identical scripts, blind listening panels, cheapest-plan export checks, measured cost math, and rights reviews. The protocol runs before monetization on every product. Reviews contain "not suitable for" sections and budget picks that are not affiliate products — those sections exist because the testing said so, not because a vendor asked.

Two concrete commitments: (1) if two products test equally, we say so rather than nudging you to the higher-commission one; (2) if a vendor we recommend changes its terms — rights, pricing, quality — and our re-test reflects it, the score changes regardless of the commission.

Other revenue, current and future

As of this update, affiliate commissions are the only revenue. If the site later adds display advertising or paid products (for example, testing templates), those will be disclosed on this page and visually separated from editorial content.
