About
About AI Tool Court
The short version
AI Tool Court is an independent review site for AI voice and video tools. Every claim on this site traces back to a test we actually ran: the same script in the same tools, blind listening panels, real exports, and price math done with measured retry rates — not the credit table the vendor publishes. When we couldn't test something, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
Who runs it
The site is operated by a single independent publisher working with a small rotating panel of volunteer listeners for blind tests. We deliberately keep the team small: fewer hands between the test and the page means fewer places for marketing copy to sneak in. Editorial and commercial decisions are kept separate — scores are finalized before any affiliate relationship goes live, and our disclosure page explains exactly how commissions work.
Why "Court"
Because tools are on trial. Each product gets the same 5-step protocol: identical scripts, blind ranking, export checks on the cheapest plan, cost-per-finished-minute math, and a rights review. The verdict includes what the tool fails at — you'll find a "not suitable for" section on every review, and we've declined to recommend category leaders for specific jobs when the data said so.
What we don't do
- We don't restate vendor marketing. If a number on this site isn't from our own logs, it's labeled as a vendor claim or clearly reasoned as an estimate.
- We don't publish screenshots in place of tests. Where a product screenshot would go, we publish the measured result — tables and charts built from our test logs.
- We don't accept payment for scores. No sponsored reviews, no paid placements, no "as seen on" deals that touch ratings.
Where the money goes
Some links are affiliate links; if you buy through them we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That funds test plans and listening-panel thank-yous — and it never buys a verdict. The full mechanics, including which links are monetized, are on the disclosure page.
